Today, we are thrilled to announce that Manifest has officially received Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP®) High authorization! Manifest’s industry-leading SBOM and AIBOM capabilities can now be accessed and deployed at the FedRAMP High level, and today’s announcement marks a major milestone in Manifest’s continued expansion and delivery of technology supply chain capabilities to the U.S. Federal Government and the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
FedRAMP is a government-wide program that promotes the adoption of secure cloud services by providing a standardized approach to security and risk assessment for cloud technologies and federal agencies. FedRAMP was created to empower agencies to use modern cloud technologies with an emphasis on security and protection of government information. The program reduces duplicative efforts and costs inefficiencies across the government while establishing a public-private partnership to support innovation and the advancement of more secure information technologies.
Defense contractors, federal civilian executive branch (FCEB) agencies, and the Department of Defense (DoD) have urgent and critical mission needs to inventory, analyze, persistently monitor, and secure every one of their third-party software dependencies. Manifest is now authorized at the FedRAMP High level to deliver SBOM management to those critical missions.
